Steelworld is a dynamic and innovative steel manufacturing company based in Phoenix Industrial Park near Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Our team of in-house experts oversees production of our comprehensive product range which includes machine parts, truck and trailer components, exhaust and pipe flanges, steel numbers and letters, steel gate decor, computer panels and steel signage. The company places great store by their exceptional customer service and take pride in the good relationships they’ve built with their customers over the years.
From humble beginnings Steelworld has grown into one of the foremost specialised steel companies in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Steelworld’s diverse product and service portfolio makes us a one-stop shop for all your steel related needs.
We are passionate about upholding the highest quality standards for our products. Being awarded and ISO9001 certification from the South African Bureau of Standards is testament to our stringent control measures that are in place across all our operations, and at each and every stage in the manufacturing process. Steelworld has the capacity to handle large volumes of work but has retained the expertise that allows us to manage more custom work on a smaller scale.
Steelworld is fully committed to advancing economic development with the province. In addition to being active members in the Durban Chamber of Commerce, we are also proud to have been one of the first companies in the steel sector to achieve a 100% BEE compliance rating.

Our Staff
Steelworld currently has a staff complement of 60 valuable and dedicated individuals, whose passion for the industry has helped shape us into the leading company that we are today. The team work’s together in a seamlessly integrated way to ensure that the company’s output is of the highest quality at all times. Regular team building exercises and motivational talks have facilitated our group to become a hard-working, driven, and cohesive unit. Through endeavours such as these, we have managed to form a unique and solid company ethos and a positive working environment. We also believe strongly in proactively helping our employees to expand their skill levels. Through training investments, and close guidance, we are proud to have seen a substantial number of our employees rise through the ranks from entry level positions into senior roles.
